Why Foster?
While our caregivers foster for a variety of reasons, all share a love for children and a desire to help those in need.
There are a variety of foster options, including: full time, temporary, emergency care and respite/relief. Therapeutic homes and homes for infants pre-natally exposed to drugs and/or alcohol are also urgently needed.
Fostering can be an incredibly rewarding experience. It can be very challenging and frustrating at times.

If you are interested in getting involved, some questions to ask yourself are:
- Do I have a strong support system of friends/family?
- Am I patient and accepting?
- Am I able to not take things personally?
- Can I say goodbye?
If you answered “yes” to these questions, there is a good chance you have the potential to become an excellent foster parent.
